Thanks to the support of the community and local organizations, Kids Rein was able to provide Riding Scholarships to several children in need from 2007 through 2015.

The UNC Charlotte Levine Scholars Program for selecting Kids Rein to receive a grant for $7,591!!! This grant has enabled us to make significant changes and updates to our arena. This includes redoing the base layers, drainage, and fencing. Thank you to our former UNC Charlotte Intern Annika for making this happen. We cannot even begin to express our gratitude.

The Carolina Brewmasters for selecting Kids Rein as a benefiting charity for the 16th Annual Charlotte Oktoberfest. It was an incredible event, and we are so humbled by the generous $25,000 donation that they are making to Kids Rein. Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help make the event possible, and to all of the patrons for supporting the event!!

The Piedmont Interclub Tennis League in association with the Trump National Golf Club, for their generous 2014 donation of $4,165.

The Mecklenburg Bull Shooters for selecting Kids Rein to benefit from the “Shoot for Joy” fundraiser that was held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012. This fundraiser helped raise money for the Kids Rein Scholarship Fund.  This Scholarship funds families in financial need and Kids Rein’s new therapeutic program called “My Hero’s Horse”.  Thank you Gerald McGraw and The Mecklenburg Bullshooters for a fun day of Sport Clay shooting and a successful fundraiser!!!!!

Volunteer and Assistant Therapeutic Riding Instructor Ursula Compton, and family, for selflessly having memorials donated to Kids Rein in lieu of flowers for her daughter Anna Marie Shelander. Anna Marie Shelander of Denver, NC, passed away Dec. 23, 2012. She was only 19 years old. Kids Rein is so humbled by this unselfish act of kindness. Thank you Ursula for giving so much of yourself to Kids Rein with your genuine and unconditional love for the children that we serve.
